For an easier navigation between folders it's handy having shortcuts in the the program files folders. Unfortunately you cannot create a shortcut with the Windows Explorer (shift and dragging) even with Administrator Privileges. Hereby a simple work around:

1. Instead of "shift and dragging" the desired folder into "C:\Program Files" to create a shortcut in "C:\Program Files" create the shortcut in a folder with write access permission (e.g. "C:\Temp").
2. Now copy the shortcut in e.g. "C:\Temp\MyShortcut.lnk" into "C:\Program Files" and confirm the UAC prompt
